Where to stay in London with kids

London · Updated 2026-10 · From MeTravel's own trips

  • Kensington & Chelsea: close to Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and three free museums: Natural History, Science and the V&A. Kids especially love the Natural History Museum.
  • Battersea: the large Battersea Park has playgrounds, and Battersea Power Station has plenty of places to eat. Calmer than the centre.
  • Marylebone: near Regent's Park, home to London Zoo; quiet streets that are easy to walk with a pushchair.

If you're bringing a pushchair, stay near a Tube station with step-free access, as not every station has lifts.
