Prepare: a passport valid for at least 6 months, your e-visa number and valid-from date (or your visa-exemption type), flight number, arrival date, first hotel address and an email address.
- Go to https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn and choose to create and submit a declaration.
- Complete the CAPTCHA.
- Enter your personal and passport details exactly as in your passport.
- Choose your visa type / purpose: e-visa (enter the e-visa number), visa exemption (the type that matches your nationality), or "Phu Quoc visa exemption" if flying straight to Phu Quoc without a visa.
- Enter your flight and accommodation details.
- Review and submit.
- Save the QR code: take a screenshot and preferably print a copy.
Note: many submissions fail because of a wrong flight number or a name that doesn't match the passport. Each traveller in a family or group (including children) should have their own declaration and QR code.
