Hoi An is about 30 km from Da Nang airport and station, roughly 40–50 minutes by road (up to 1–1.5 hours in traffic or heavy rain, September to December).
- Grab or Xanh SM car: about 250,000–350,000 VND per ride; the fastest and easiest, with airport pickup.
- Metered taxi (Mai Linh, Vinasun): about 300,000–450,000 VND.
- Shared shuttle: about 130,000–150,000 VND per person, book a day ahead; hotel pickup and drop-off, slower because of multiple stops.
- Public bus LK02: about 35,000 VND per person, running roughly 5:45–18:00; it doesn't serve the airport, and large bags may be charged extra.
- Rent a scooter: about 100,000–150,000 VND per day, with a scenic coastal road; only if you hold a valid licence.
