The best spots are Notre-Dame Cathedral, Nguyen Hue walking street, Tan Dinh Church and the Pham The Hien Catholic quarter.
- Notre-Dame Cathedral: LED lights cover the church and both bell towers. In 2025 they were lit from 1 December to 5 January.
- Nguyen Hue walking street: Christmas trees and light installations, a short walk from the cathedral.
- Tan Dinh Church: the pink church, with white lights running up its bell tower.
- Pham The Hien Catholic quarter (old District 8): dozens of family-built nativity scenes along alleys hundreds of metres long.
- Malls such as Landmark 81, Diamond Plaza and Saigon Centre: Indoor trees and displays, air-conditioned and rain-proof.
Note: Lights usually go up in early December; 20–25 December is the best time to go.
