On Christmas Eve, the area around Notre-Dame, Nguyen Hue and Ben Thanh gets packed, with traffic jams from early evening.
- Arrive before 6:30pm for photos and to find parking.
- Take a Grab or the metro nearby and walk the rest; many streets around the cathedral and walking street restrict vehicles.
- After 11pm rides are hard to find and ride-hailing prices usually surge.
