Shopping in Los Angeles: from luxury streets to bargain alleys

Los Angeles · Updated 2026-10 · From MeTravel's own trips

  • Rodeo Drive (Beverly Hills): LA's most famous luxury shopping street, lined with high-end fashion brands. Worth a stroll even if you're not buying.
  • The Grove (Fairfax District): an open-air shopping centre opened in 2002, right next to the Original Farmers Market, which dates back to 1934. Shop and eat in one outing.
  • Westfield Century City: a very large open-air mall with every major brand and plenty of restaurants, close to Beverly Hills.
  • Santee Alley (Fashion District, Downtown): an alley lined with stalls selling cheap clothes and accessories, where bargaining is normal. It gets crowded, so watch your belongings and beware of counterfeits.
  • Glendale Galleria (Glendale): an indoor mall right next to the open-air Americana at Brand. More relaxed than shopping in Downtown.
