Almost everywhere only takes Alipay or WeChat Pay.
- Install Alipay before you go and link your Visa/Mastercard in the app.
- Scan QR codes to pay in shops, taxis and on the metro.
- Carry a little CNY cash in case the app fails.
Note: payments over 200 CNY with a foreign card may carry a small fee.
