The famous New Year's Eve fireworks Châu Á are all in city centres reachable by train.
- Singapore: Marina Bay, with fireworks over Marina Bay Sands.
- Hong Kong: Victoria Harbour, best seen from the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront.
- Taipei: fireworks launched from Taipei 101.
- Bangkok: along the Chao Phraya River, around ICONSIAM.
- Seoul: the midnight Bosingak bell-ringing ceremony (not a big fireworks show).
- Further afield: Sydney Harbour, one of the world's first New Year shows.
Note: the best viewing spots fill up by the afternoon; trains often run late on New Year's Eve, but some stations close due to crowds.
