Chongli (Hebei) hosted the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics ski events and is about 1 hour from Beijing by high-speed train.
- Main resorts: Genting, Thaiwoo, Wanlong and Fulong, with slopes from beginner to expert.
- Getting there: the Beijing – Zhangjiakou high-speed line to Taizicheng station, then shuttle buses to the resorts.
- Season: roughly November to March, with the best snow in January–February.
- Combine: a few days in Beijing plus 1–2 nights in Chongli.
