What's the easiest and cheapest way to get around Prague?

Prague · Updated 2026-09 · From MeTravel's own trips

Buy a public transport day ticket: 120 CZK (about €4.8) for unlimited buses, trams, metro, the funicular and ferries.

  • The funicular is included and well worth it for views over the city.
  • Ferries on the day ticket only cross the Vltava; they are not sightseeing cruises under Charles Bridge.
  • Tickets from the orange machines on trams, buses or at metro stations are already activated.
  • Tickets from the yellow machines in stations, convenience stores or information desks must be validated before entering the metro platform, or right after boarding a bus or tram.

Note: Validate only once, on first use. A ticket that isn't validated, or is validated more than once, is not valid.
