The two main markets, on Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square, are expected to run 28 November 2026 – 6 January 2027, 10 am–10 pm daily.
- Old Town Square: the prettiest, with a giant tree before Tyn Church and the Astronomical Clock.
- Wenceslas Square: a long market strip with lots of food.
- Smaller, calmer markets: Namesti Míru (Peace Square) and Prague Castle.
- Try: trdelnik (chimney cake), svarak (mulled wine), grilled sausages.
Note: Prague's markets stay open into early January, which suits travellers coming after Christmas or for New Year.
